HISTORY

The central workshops of MCHZ Přerov were established in the 1960´s as the service centre for overhauls of manufacturing plants and constructions for investment deliveries, mainly of external suppliers. At the same time, the workshops fulfilled their task of being the central workshop and maintenance centre within the company Precheza a. s. until 1999.

The company PREST PŘEROV a. s. was founded early in 1999 as a hundred per cent subsidiary of the company Precheza a. s. The company was established by the division of bookkeeping and the outsourcing of engineering capacities - central maintenance from the joint-stock company Precheza. In December 2000 all shares of PREST PŘEROV a. s. were purchased in a single operation by the company firma ZOMAplast s. r. o. (www.zomaplast.cz) with its registered office in Přerov. In this way, the company became the hundred-per-cent owner.

PRESENT

The company PREST PŘEROV a. s. has its registered office at the premises of the company Precheza a. s. in Přerov on the Dr. Edvard Beneše embankment. The company employs some 50 employees in an original double-aisle factory building with an area of 2.200 square meters of production area, mounted with a railroad spur and overhead cranes with a loading capacity of 5t and 12t, respectively. The production is divided into machine shop, fitter's shop, and service for pumps and valves.

The employees of PREST PŘEROV a. s., workers as well as technicians, have long-time experience not only from their work in service provided within the company framework of Precheza a. s., but also from other companies from Přerov with several years of tradition in their field, for example PSP Engineering a. s. or Montáže Přerov a. s. Due to this experience we are able to carry out your orders in the agreed time, at high quality, and under better financial conditions.
